40th Nutrition Month

Malnutrition is one of our biggest problems in Philippines especially in children. Because of poverty, many Filipino is suffering in hunger and that's also one of the reasons why there are malnourished people. And sometimes, junk foods also cause malnutrition. Now, the question is: How ready are we when there is a calamity?
According to my research, there are 30-40percent  Filipino children who are now malnourished. Isn't it alarming? If you are a malnourished person, you don't have a strength and you'll not be able to think with a better idea. When there is a calamity, malnourished people won't be ready because they are too weak and hungry. This will be also a displeasing problem in our country so we need to put an end on this.
We can fight malnutrition by having a proper diet and by eating healthy foods. Eating fruits and vegetables is the most effective way to fight malnutrition. We have to campaign the proper way of maintaining ones healthy body and we have to tell to everyone what's the good of eating fruits and vegetables. By these, people will be enlighten and we can solve and fight malnutrition.
